On October 28, 100 days before the 9th Asian Winter Games (AWG) in Harbin, Heilongjiang province. China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd. (China Eastern), the official air service partner of Harbin 2025, unveiled a themed aircraft.

Inside the plane, the cabin is adorned with emblems and mascots on tray tables and headrests. The portholes are decorated with motifs such as snowflakes. Alongside the launch of the aircraft, China Eastern also released a behind-the-scenes documentary showcasing the creation of this special-themed livery, from design conception to the final paintwork.

A second AWG-themed aircraft, an Airbus A330-200 wide-body jet featuring the same vibrant design, will join the fleet soon. With a length of 58.8 meters and a wingspan of 60.3 meters, the aircraft’s long-haul capability and in-flight Wi-Fi will enable passengers to stay connected, extending the AWG invitation to travelers worldwide.

China Eastern has scheduled 20 daily flights between Shanghai and Harbin to offer AWG athletes and visitors quality travel options.

International visitors can enjoy seamless travel to Harbin and beyond, with connections through the airline’s hubs in Shanghai, Xi’an and Kunming, making global travel easy and accessible.
