China Energy Investment Corporation (China Energy) signed a memorandum of understanding on clean energy development with thyssenkrupp and ITOCHU Corporation on Nov 6.
The three companies will join hands to explore practical green development paths for energy and the industrial economy while deepening cooperation on new patterns of energy development to contribute to China's "dual carbon" goals of peaking carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060 and to realize high-quality cooperation within the international energy industry.
According to the agreements, China Energy and thyssenkrupp will work together in fields of wind power, hydrogen and green chemical engineering and related production, storage and transportation, application and collaboration, etc.
The three companies will also cooperate in new energy, hydrogen, ammonia power, technological equipment and energy trade to realize carbon reduction and sustainable development goals.
