First Central SOE Emergency Donation Fund for Henan Ready to Go

In response to the torrential rainfalls that have swamped Central China's Henan Province, central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) resolutely implemented the instruction of President Xi Jinping, and acted on the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. Improving their political stance, they immediately arranged fundraising activities while guaranteeing work of flood prevention, emergency rescue and supplies. By noon of July 22, the first batch of 59 central SOEs had prepared their cash donation of 686 million yuan ($106.12 million).
