Padilla-El Salto Highway in Bolivia, contracted by Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA), recently opened for traffic.
Located in southeastern Sucre, the 49.04-kilometer highway is a part of the country's No. 6 National Highway.
The highway is expected to shorten travel time between its two terminals to 30 minutes, benefiting 300,000 residents in affected areas.
It will also play a role in promoting the country's economic and social development and push forward pragmatic cooperation between China and Bolivia.
