CPEC Hydropower Project in Pakistan Completes Second-Phase River Closure

The second phase of the Suki Kinari Hydropower Project in Pakistan completed its river closure on April 30, stepping on a new stage in the dam's construction.

Located on the Kunhar River in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a northwestern region of the country, it is a major project of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The project is being invested in and constructed by China Gezhouba (Group) Corporation, a subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd.
