China Unicom Backs Winter Olympics Ice sports Competition Testing

China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd. (China Unicom) has completed all communication network construction at the venues for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, which were tested between April 1 and 10.

The company launched a special group to guarantee stable testing which included practice burst failure and emergency and conventional processes on March 25 and 26.

Emergency communication vehicles were also arranged. Each of them was equipped with a whole set of power supply, transmission and wireless network devices, which can provide gigabit broadband transmission and be used as 4G or 5G base stations.

The group has been on a 7/24 shift since April 1, ready for all kinds of service.
