Two power stations at the LOT-1 photovoltaic (PV) project in Ethiopia, built by China North Industries Group Corporation Limited (NORINCO Group), recently went into operation.
The Beltu and Behima stations have a total capacity of about 0.95 megawatts.
The project includes PV power generation, power storage, fire-control, remote control communication and emergency power generation systems, as well as living service facilities.
Upon completion, the project is expected to supply power for local people and promote regional economic development.
