CCIC Issues China's First Green Product Certification for Solar Water Heating System

China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), a subsidiary of China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC), recently issued SUNRAIN Group with a green product certification, the first of its kind in China.

A state-supported certification system, green product certification in China covers various fields including environmental protection, energy conservation, recycling, and low-carbon and renewable industries, based on one set of standards and assessment and using the same logo.

CQC gained the right to issue the green product certification in 2020 and has been promoting the service nationwide. To date, several enterprises have submitted certification applications.

Using its brand and technical advantages, CCIC has been fulfilling its role as a state-owned enterprise in encouraging production and the supply of green products and playing a role in China's green product certification system to improve the quality and efficiency of green development in the country.
