Updated: 2021-02-09

China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) has completed and delivered the Daylight photovoltaic (PV) power plant project in Spain, which was the company's first international clean energy investment during China's 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25).

The delivery kicked off CTG's business in Spain, the largest photovoltaic market in Europe.

Home to rich solar resources, Spain plans to increase installed capacity of PV power by 3 million kilowatts per year by 2030.

The project recently delivered by CTG includes 13 PV power stations with a total installed capacity of 572,000 kW, and is the largest PV power project in the country.
