China's first smart satellite production line recently went into trial operation in the national aerospace industrial base in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei Province after more than 400 days of development.
Design, built and installed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited, the production line is anticipated to produce an estimated more than 240 mini satellites annually.
The production line features advanced intelligent manufacturing technologies and is equipped with functions like accurate perception, real-time quality control of key procedures and data collection of the whole manufacturing process.
With key processes handled by robots, manufacturing of satellite is more efficient.
Satellites of different types, scales, sizes and weights can be produced by the line.
