CRCC to Play a Role in Construction of African Disease Control Center Headquarters

China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) recently won the bidding for construction of the headquarters of Africa Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Located in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, the project will include construction of a main building and a laboratory building, as well as an office area, an emergency center, an information and data center, several biological laboratories and residences for experts.

A result of the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the project is expected to promote cooperation between China and African countries.

It will be the largest foreign-aid project contracted by CRCC's China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation.
