A new model of the Fuxing high-speed train ran to Xi'an, Shaanxi province, on Dec 15, getting ready for operation on the Xi'an-Yinchuan high-speed railway.
Nanjing in East China's Jiangsu province also recently welcomed the same high-speed train model which will operate on several railways linking Lianyungang, Huai'an, Yangzhou and Zhenjiang.
With complete proprietary intellectual property rights, the new model was jointly manufactured by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. and CRRC Tangshan Co., Ltd. and has a maximum operation speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
The new trains are controlled through the ethernet network, which is a first in China.
What's more, they are equipped with an integrated hauling system and new materials and structures, which make the trains lighter, more soundproof and quieter.
