China National Aviation Fuel Group Limited (CNAF) is now ready to go into full swing supplying fuel for the upcoming third China International Import Expo (CIIE) which will be held from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai.
Preparations for employee performance assessment, device examination, emergency management and epidemic prevention and control were carried out by CNAF's Hongqiao air service station soon after the National Day holiday, which was from Oct 1 to 8.
The company opened training courses for employees participating in the CIIE supportive work so they could improve their professional skills and guarantee all-round aviation fueling service at the event.
In addition to employee selection and training, the company also launched two security checking and maintenance campaigns on all refueling and installation equipment, security and protection safeguards at the gas stations and fire-fighting facilities, and comprehensive review of power distribution equipment and detection platforms.
All kinds of refueling tools and devices are also being double-checked to ensure safe and reliable aviation fuel service during the CIIE.
Based on earlier emergency and sand table exercises to prepare for extreme weather and accidents like fire disasters or refueller breakdowns, the company carried out a series of security drills for those incidents as well as epidemic prevention and control.
