CHD in Full Swing in Energy Supply for CIIE

China Huadian Corporation Ltd. (CHD) is in full swing in guaranteeing energy supply for the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) that is to be held from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai.

This year's CIIE will feature a higher level in institutionalization and intelligentization.

A main energy supplier to the event, CHD started preparation for CIIE in early June.

The energy station of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), built and operated by CHD, is only 200 meters from the event's venue.

To improve its dynamic prevention and control of the epidemic and capacity to respond to emergencies, CHD's subsidiary in Shanghai gave training courses to its employees and held scientific, strict and elaborate simulation exercises.

So far, the company has held several key emergency drills on black-starts, island operations, anti-terrorism response and epidemic handling.

In addition to establishing and improving work mechanisms and making overall power supply plans, the company also encouraged its international partners to participate in the event.

CHD will take advantage of the innovative and open platform of the CIIE to promote its high-end manufacturing and technological innovations as well as its industrial transformation and upgrading. It will continue to make efforts in high-quality development and strive to become a world-leading energy supplier.
