The intelligent industry and information technology exhibition of the China International Import Expo will feature a new section on energy-saving and environment-friendly products this year.
The section will include booths and a comprehensive experience zone themed "Green City", where visitors will be able to interact with products related to green architecture and clean energy.
Exhibitors in this new section include heating manufacturer Vaillant, water filtration system provider Watpure, air purifier company Aavi and Japanese company Espon, which will introduce a paper recycling machine that can turn wastepaper into printable paper. Wirtgen Group from Germany will also showcase its recycling road paver which can resurface worn and torn bituminous pavement in one pass.
The main exhibition space for intelligent industry and information technology will feature goods and services related to industrial equipment, engineering machinery, and industrial automation.
Some 330 companies, including 60 Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders such as General Electric, Honeywell and Siemens, will have booths in the 70,000-square-meter exhibition area.
Huang Anwen, the person in charge of the exhibition, said the exhibitor alliance has also founded a committee focused on industrial digitalization transformation. The committee will be holding activities to help companies gain access to resources and assistance for digital transformation.
