The Gift of Time

The launching ceremony of "the gift of time", a poverty alleviation tourism route of China National Travel Service Group Corporation (CTS), was held in Shangri-La in Yunnan province on June 8.

To date, two poverty alleviation targets - Shagri-La and Deqin county - have successfully gotten rid of poverty with the support of CTS' tourism programs.

CTS opened more than 10 poverty alleviation tourism routes in 2018 and another three to four new traveling routes based on the previous routes have been developed this year, which promoted the sustainable development of local tourism.
