The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) held a contract signing ceremony at the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) on Nov 6. Subsidiaries of AVIC in major fields, such as high-end equipment, liquid-crystal microelectronics and civil aviation, left their signatures on a series of import purchasing contracts and agreements.

An AVIC representative in charge trading groups said at the ceremony that the keynote speech at CIIE's opening ceremony focuses on co-building an innovative and inclusive global economy and shows China’s determination to continue opening-up. It also expresses China’s initiative in expanding cooperation in the new era.

AVIC will stick to new development concepts, develop major business areas and upgrade industrial layout so as to achieve a quality economic development, the representative added. The import contracts and agreements show AVIC’s commitment to promoting opening-up and friendly cooperation with foreign companies as it pursues win-win relations.

In the next stage, AVIC is going to boost its international development through a more inclusive attitude and deep supply-side reform.

AVIC International Aero-Development Corporation (AVIC INTL), one trading group of AVIC, imports high-end aviation intelligent equipment. It has signed contracts with CIIE corporate exhibitors from five countries and regions, including Fives Group and Aritex.

AVIC INTL reached contracts with AVIC Harbin Aircraft Industry Group and AVIC Shenyang Aircraft Corporation on supply chains for civil aviation standard parts.

AVIC INTL and its subsidiaries are providers of aviation standard parts supply chains in China’s aviation industry, including purchasing, storage management and delivery procedures.

Tianma Microelectronics, one of AVIC’s subsidiaries focusing on electronic information, reached purchase contracts with its five foreign partners, ranking at the top of AVIC’s many subsidiaries at the CIIE in terms of contract value.
